According to the handy press release Lou Dalton’s latest offerings were inspired by walking. “Walking to me has always meant freedom, something that I wanted to express in this collection”. Not something we here at 10 are very familiar with. Walking? People still do that? But believe it or not we are converts after the show. Ditch the uber and go for a hike. And those are clothes you want to be seen walking in. Slick black trousers with slicked hair. Like it was wet from the rain. You have been walking after all. Sheer patterned tops and jackets meant with patterns resembling bracken. Sweaters with maps printed on them. And the outerwear – lightweight. So lightweight you’re floating. But you’re not floating you’re walking. Straight into the store to buy them.
