Loewe Open Pop-Up Store At Ibiza’s Museum Of Contemporary Art

Loewe

Ibiza. Yes, most people go to get off their tits, but (apparently) there’s culture too. Museums and the such. And now Loewe. Lovely Loewe. And this Loewe store is in a museum – re-opening their pop-up shop this summer in Ibiza’s MACE (Museum of Contemporary Art) – which offish makes it the classiest spot in the Balearics. And, a quick Google Maps suggest it is only eight minutes walk from the beach. I mean (literally) what more could you want in life? Opening today until the end of August, the store will coincide with two exhibitions – Guerlain Collection, a temporary exhibit of drawings recently donated to the Pompidou Centre in Paris, courtesy of Loewe’s generous sponsorship, and an exhibition of vintage pieces from Paula’s Ibiza, the iconic store which opened on the island in the 1970s.

And the the pop-up store itself is centred around the Loewe Paula’s Ibiza collection, conceived by long time lover of the island and creative director JDubz, drawing inspiration from the original prints and garment designs (some of which will be on display in the museum). Those very same prints also adorn the outside of the store. And, were you to to tragically “lose” your luggage en route to the island – there’s (almost) every conceivable item you would need here – from tops, skirts and dresses to towels and espadrilles. Desp to go. Any willing sponsors?
