LIBERACE: BEHIND THE CANDELABRA

All hail this rainy Thursday morning for giving to us what might be, I don’t actually know how to put this into words, there aren’t any that could do it  justice so I’ll just say, the Liberace trailer and turn to Dlisted for their review of the greatest mini cinematic masterpiece that was ever created.

“In under two minutes, they gave us sequined vests, gallons of lip gloss, exquisitely applied eyeliner, bubbles, Matt Damon in a white Speedo, feathers, fur, a crystal-encrusted Rolls Royce chariot, gay drama and more wigs than a Knowles family reunion.”

Michael Douglas has never looked better than when dressed in a peacock feather kaftan and working orange hued skin while suggesting that his rent boy lover in the form of Matt Damon gets surgery to look more like him. Imagine if Matt Damon had actually had the surgery. Imagine how much better he’d look. The fact that he didn’t under go surgery just shows his lack of commitment to the role as who wouldn’t want to look like Michael Douglas/ Liberace, and quite frankly is a little disappointing but then sight of them both in a bubble bath kind of makes up for it.
