Yesterday was Liam Hodges’ first solo show. His Geri Halliwell “Look At Me” moment. Except this was about petrol-heads (official definition – “a person who is overly reliant on the use of their car, resisting any suggestion to use other means of transport”) so maybe Scream If You Want To Go Faster is a more appropriate Geri song to reference? Think – lads that soup-up Japanese motors – sweaters with 60 F45T3R written on them, a colour palette of electric blue and yellow, tracksuits and boiler suits in Hodges’ signature boyish cuts. Helmet-esque balaclavas, number plate knits, seatbelts around the waist. Strap in.
