They released upon the world their latest L’Agent by Agent Provocateur campaign this morning, coming just in time for Christmas. Insert slipping down stockings joke here. Or don’t. Either way, we digress – here, hark at the beautiful L’Agent ladies as they are sprayed with confetti and balloons whilst serving up the brand’s latest collection in all its glory. But these aren’t just any undergarments. These ones are designed by a bonafide superstar and her sister. Quite literally. Yes, Oscar-winning Penelope Cruz and sibling Monica have embraced the world of undies by designing a whole damn collection of them. “This season’s it’s all about rock and roll, and a woman’s rebellious nature,” said Pen. “‘Sexy Toy’ by my brother Eduardo Cruz to me is just the soundtrack to the brand, it’s the song which we used for the first ever L’Agent campaign”. So, what are the ladies fav pieces? “I feel that Leola (our first longline bra) in the collection is really sexy and reminds me of the 40s and the 50… it’s the same with the Reia body which, for me, is like an homage to Sophia Loren,” says Penelope. And Monica? “Highlights for me personally are the Amalea and Mia.” So get shopping ladies. Or, alternatively, gentleman shopping for ladies. Or just gents shopping for themselves. We don’t judge.
