KRIS VAN ASSCHE: BACK STAGE BOYS PARIS A/W 13
‘Rugged n’ Rough and Tough’ said the sweaters that were spliced through the centre of several looks backstage. Though in reality, this collection was quite the opposite. It conjured a clean living soul. We’re thing All American with a Colgate smile. It almost felt like there was a boys to men transition going down. As though these sections of sweats in tailoring were only visible through X-ray. He’s suited and booted, but still a bit of a high school jock beneath it all. Perhaps there’s a basketball stowed in that man bag? Loving the boyish Josh Hartnett bowl cuts too. Is this something we could pull off?
