Karl4Kidz. That’s what we’re hoping M. Lagerfeld names his kidswear line. That’s right, in a new move that will draw yummy upper middle class mummies from Hampstead to the Hamptons to the designer’s eponymous stores, Karl Lagerfeld has announced that he is making clothes 4 kids. The ready-to-wear and accessories collections are for newborns to 16-year-olds and hopefully includes this rather fetching pair of lederhosens, modeled here by the designer’s godson Hudson Kroenig in Chanel’s Metiers d’Art Paris-Salzburg show. I mean to say, if they don’t scream money, power, fame and prepubescent style, then what on God’s green earth does?
Karl Lagerfeld’s kidswear collection will be unveiled in spring 2016.
