Do you remember those tracksuit bottoms from the nineties with the poppers down the side? For some reason this reminded me of them. Imagine wearing the leg of one as a column dress, layered over a bias cut sheath, the poppers undone and falling away to reveal a bare shoulder or a new under layer. Bits of this were like that. Bits were quite monastic and strict, elsewhere there soft folds jutting away from the body.
