Not to be that person but… SOS please someone help us, it’s not healthy for us to feel this way about every Fenty Beauty launch. But we can’t help it. We’re hopelessly devoted to Rihanna. She is our leader and leading us into the summer she is doing with her second Beach, Please! collection. It’s filled with high voltage, metallic-fuelled shimmer and all that Bad Gal Riri drama we thrive off. Give it to us. The collection takes the killer Killawatt highlighter duos into a new realm of shine with their foil-finish glimmer. From Rihanna’s make-up tutorial recently released by Vogue, we have learnt that this goes everywhere. She doesn’t hold back. Well, obviously. Pour it up and lather that electrifying pink highlighter on the eyes, the cheeks, the collarbones. It all must come together. In addition to the Killawatt there is a liquid eye shimmer ‘Island Bling’ (um, fabulous) dropping in two shades along with lip luminizers ‘Summer Daze’ and ‘Summer Nights’ which will all be working together to allow us to go into our summer suitable shiny disco ball element. Oh yes, it’s all going to be glinting so glamorously under the warm moonlight. We’re picturing a Barbados beach as the waves crash onto the sand and palm trees faintly rustle in the sea breeze. It’s a Rihanna infused heatstroke. But this is that kind of make-up. It takes you places. Lost in paradise with no limitations. A la Rihanna in the campaign, and her song Skin: no heels, no shirt, no skirt, all we’re in is just skin – and Fenty Beauty. It’s going to be a good summer.
