Fashion alert! Shearling mania has hit Fendi and to celebrate they have released a video to showcase their expertise in fur. The mini Peekaboo and clutch version, 3Baguette Chain, alongside pieces from their ready-to-wear line, have been updated with soft shearling in shades from tender pale pink to milk. In the special video, you can see a model prancing around in said shearling designs. Which got me thinking about Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman in Batman Returns (it was the glasses). And that got me thinking about Fendi’s version of Catwoman… the one and only Sheepwoman. Like Catwoman, Sheepwoman was also pushed from the window of an office building (in Wales) but was revived by a flock of wild sheep. Sheepwoman prefers to warmth of shearling next to her skin rather than PVC like Catwoman, and so chooses to fight crime wearing Fendi’s shearling showstoppers.
