If you work in fashion and don’t love Marie Antoinette then you aren’t allowed to work in fashion anymore. It’s the law. Or something, we might have made that up. But here, in this trailer for their upcoming fash film, Fendi is serving up the original French queen with a modern twist. Ouuu. Directed by French powerhouse Rebecca Zlotowski, it’s called Girls Secret and will star buzzy actress Sigrid Bouaziz as Marie, giving us what is promised to be an intimate look at the house’s Spring/Summer and Pre-Fall 2017 lewks. “Portraying a contemporary allegory of the lifestyle of a nowadays “Queen of France”, the film follows a night out with her coquette group of girlfriends,” says the release. “Hiding her secret, she wanders around an unexpected Paris, surrounded by a lively and feminine atmosphere made of Fendi femininity, kawaii techno and a certain 18th century art de vivre.” So get suitably teased by the trailer above and discover the whole film March 22nd…
