For AW22, the brand presents Dual, descried as “a reflection of the dualism that underlies every creation”. Informed by ethereal lightness and material concreteness, the collection sees slick tailoring, feminine bomber jackets and delightful ribbed knit separates paired alongside glittered track jackets, crisp parkas and shimmery shirt dresses.
Penned as a dialogue which unites thoughts, emotions and landscapes, stylist Mecca James-Williams brings new context to the collection inside 10 Magazine Issue 69. Shot across Williamsburg. Bushwick and Manhatten, James-Williams rounded up a troupe of creatives who inspire her to model this season’s looks. Lensed by Johnson Lui, the story features spiritual advisor Iya Osuntoyin, jewellery designer and actress Arpana Rayamajhi, as well as models Sera Kuny and Cecilia Wu, amongst others.
Speaking of the story, James-Williams wrote: “I highlighted the beauty of NYC moments – the ones that feel so fleeting, the ones that make you lose and find yourself, and all the ones that are gritty yet so sweet. It ain’t no secret the charm of this city took a beaten over the last few years; and while it’s back – it’s something new, and that’s okay. Because well, that’s New York.
“I included an array of beautiful people that have their own facets and lanes in this beautiful city,” she continues. “Their strength, intimacy, and beauty speak wonders.”
