Haute couture, for him. That sounds right up Stefano Pilati’s very fancy Zegna street – he’s detail obsessed, and adores embellishment. The latter were out in force for his winter Ermenegildo Zegna Couture show, an ode to the sequin… And the bead, and to jacquards, appliqués, figured silks, quilting, you name it. This was about the decorated make who’s willing to pay anything to look amazing, like those fabulous ladies at the haute couture who clap heartily and order lustily. Stefano Pilati is one of the best dressed men in the world; if you have haute couture kind of bucks, you can be too, chez Zegna.
