Emilio Pucci: Ready-to-wear AW16

Skiing is great. I mean we’re not so into the actual sport stuff (la Greek Wintour isn’t keen on anything that requires the removal of heels, and we faithfully follow suit) but the clothes are great. They were what inspired Massimo Giorgetti’s second Emilio Pucci show – streamlined, skinny stretch onesies in bright block colours, mountainous landscapes across cuddly down coats and plenty of signature Pucci prints swirling across pleated silks, and ever intricate intarsio shearlings. It was tightly exited, tightly focused and whooshed by like an Olympian skidding down a slalom. 12 points. Oh wait, that’s Eurovision not the Winter Olympics…
