Looking for some new summer garms to make their way straight into your wardrobe? Look no further than Dunhill’s Abrasion capsule collection. For those of you who don’t know, Alfred Dunhill’s first collection, an accessories line, included “everything but the motor” – meaning car horns and lamps, indlued. So for this capsule, it was only right that creative director Mark Weston continued on from the brand’s SS20 collection and looked back again at Dunhill’s long-standing automotive history.
Inspired by the stripped back, natural patterns found when removing paintwork from the metal panels of a car, distorted colourways are now reimagined as exclusive house prints, similarly found on some pieces from Dunhill’s SS21 collection.
Reflecting the changing face of a vehicle after years of much-loved use, bold indigos, crimsons and yellows embellish signature products such as the iconic Rollagas lighter, reversible bombers, floating shirts and contemporary jersey pieces. The perfect pairing to a colourful cocktail in the sun (roll on April 12!).
