Another week has gone by and the shops are still shut. Will the high street open up anytime soon? We wish we could answer that question. What we do know, however, is that there’s plenty of newnesses inside the hallowed halls of Dover Street Market waiting to be explored. Whilst shoppers have been away, the Haymarket concept store has been doing a spot of decorating – welcoming the arrival of the SS21 collections with its bi-annual seasonal make-over. Before we’re allowed back inside, here’s a sneak peek as to what you can expect.
New brands all around
For SS21, a whole host of talent will be joining the Dover Street Market for the first time, including New York label Vaquera and sustainable brand The Wasted Collective. Watch the space…
A bunch of specials and exclusives
As with every season at DSM, there is an army of exclusive goodies to be bought. This time around sees Marine Serre and Chopova Lowena create pieces that are only available in-store, while Gucci has crafted some special editions of its Epilogue collection, which premiered during GucciFest last November.
Refurbished installations
Part of the fun of stepping through the DSM glass doors is exploring the installations that habitat all five floors. Be prepared to see new, innovative set-ups housing the collections of Kiko Kostadinov, Craig Green, Gucci, Marine Serre, Molly Goddard, and of course, the Comme des Garçons family of brands.
Online excellence
Although we may have to wait a little while till we can physically shop again, there’s plenty of SS21 collections up for grabs on Dover Street Market’s e-store, with pieces from Stüssy and Undercover proving particular standouts.
