This is new generation Dolce & Gabbana. If you’ve been keeping a close eye on Stefano Gabbana’s Instagram this week, you’d know about the eighteen millennials sitting front row at the Dolce and Gabbana Spring Summer 2017 show in Milan today. So it made sense that as we walked into the Tropico Italiano themed show, Justin Bieber and only Justin Bieber blared through the chaos. And then Tropico Italiano began, Italian breakdancers stormed the runway and partied. Dressed in baseball jerseys, flannels tied around their waists and sneakers. Totally anarchic, making way for the new young money Dolce girl to follow. Obvs everything was embellished from boleros to mini skirts to the flowers adorning their hair. Floral and fish prints, frills, ruffles, polka dots, everything really. More is more. The girls wore crowns that flashed and platform sandals and heels lit up with each step. Techno fashun.
