Spaghetti westerns already sound a bit Italian, don’t they? Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana seem to think so – their winter 2016 menswear show was a rootin’ tootin’, embroidered and bedazzled ode to the Cowboy – not the building kind, but rather the Sicilian one. I’m not sure you actually get them in Sicily, but you definitely get the films, and Dolce and Gabbana were happy to run with the fantasy, and with the exquisite embroideries their ateliers do so exquisitely. The result? A singular statement for the decorated male. A rhinestone cowboy, if you will.
