What’s the best thing you have ever done for your dog? Bought them some doggy-friendly chocolate perhaps? Or have you threw them a puppy party with all their best puppy pals? Well, Dior has topped all that. The Parisian house has named its latest creation – the Dior Bobby – after Christian Dior’s beloved dog. This isn’t the first Bobby in the Dior family, however. It was the name given to whatever Dior suit was expected to be a success whilst Monsieur Dior designed for the house. Moving away from sublime tailoring and into the world of accessories, the Dior Bobby is now a rather splendid over the shoulder bag with timeless appeal. Available in three sizes and four colourways – cream, black, camel and blue – the bag comes in a curvaceous silhouette, accented with gold detailings which include a buckle and ‘CD’ initials at the centre. There are two options for the strap: a smooth leather which matches the bag itself or a canvas addition; stamped with the Dior Oblique monogram. Which one are you going for? We can’t decide!
