Want you to come a little closer. I’d like you to get to know me a little better. Meet the real me. Or so Christina Aguilera once sung as the introduction to her 2002 opus, Stripped. You know that already. Now, we invite you to do the same, to come a little closer, although not at Christina Aguilera (you can do that by zooming in very close to her pictures on Google if you want), but instead at Dior’s Cruise collection, which they showed last Tuesday at Blenheim Palace. Which was entirely unrelated to the Dirrrty chanteuse, and actually was inspired by the English gentlewoman, which you can see here in these photographs, captured by Jason Lloyd-Evans and his intrepid lens as he captures all the finer the details – the shoes, the bags, those angelic model faces. Because, as they say, the devil is in the details. It’s just Dior. Stripped.
