The smell of Chanel N°5 travels up our nose as we write this. Celebrating 100 years of high complex blends of aldehydes and florals, the Chanel Fine Jewellery Creation Studio has created the first High Jewellery collection to be dedicated – and deservingly so – to a perfume.
In celebration of the milestone, Patrice Leguéreau, director of the Chanel Fine Jewellery Creation Studio, has reimagined the beautiful bottle which holds the orange-coloured scent. From the bottle to the sillage, you can see how it has been beautifully replicated into a majestic piece that will be passed down for generations.
Named 55.55, the necklace is so special it even received an exceptional gemstone crafted in its honour, a 55.55-carat custom-cut diamond. Pretty major, we know, but do you expect anything less for the most famous perfume in the world?
