It’s Monday, a day no one likes, so luckily we have some news that will hopefully cheer you up- Chanel have announced their Resort 19 show will take place on Thursday 3rd May. Put it in the diary NOW. In previous seasons the House has jetted off to spectacular destinations for Resort shows, but for the second season in a row, the show will be happening in the brand’s home town of Paris. The main reason for showing there, and an incredible reason at that, is their commitment to the venue that has housed so many iconic shows, Chanel has pledged 25 million Euros for the restoration and preservation of the space, And why not? With Chanel’s creativity, they may be physically showing in Paris but can transport us pretty much anywhere! Last year we time travelled back to ancient Greece- think a field trip to the British museum, but one you actually wanted to be on. Our brains are already in over drive thinking about which fabulous spectacular destination will be brought to life next.
