Brunello Cucinelli: Ready-To-Wear SS26

In Milan, Brunello Cucinelli reminded us that luxury doesn’t need to shout to be heard. For SS26, the house turned to the elements – Earth, Air, Water, Fire – weaving a collection that felt at once grounding and transcendental.

Earth set the tone: a palette of sand, ecru, white clay and deep-rooted browns sculpted into tweeds and chevrons, with textures so tactile you can almost feel them through the pages of the lookbook. It was tailoring, yes, but softened, layered with depth and quiet confidence.

Air moved differently. Open knits, gauzes and perforated lace swayed across the body, catching light with a weightless ease. A wardrobe built on transparency and breath, it offered femininity stripped of fuss – delicate but never fragile.

Then came Water: silhouettes shifting and flowing, lines cut with ergonomic precision. Fabrics rippled like sea foam, embroideries glimmered as though filtered through waves. The palette stretched from sky-washed blues to the dark pull of the abyss, each shade draped like liquid across the form.

Finally, Fire. Bursts of lava red and rhubarb ignited the collection, tempered with Cucinelli’s signature refinement but carrying a spark of passion – artisanal craftsmanship meeting the heat of high summer.

An elemental meditation on what elegance can mean now, Brunello Cucinelli presented a collection made up of the kind of clothes modern women want.
