Alberta Ferretti needs no excuse to whip up a pretty bit of frock, and that’s exactly what she did here – really quite sexy ones, actually, diaphanous slips or strapless column gowns came in shiny gold or silver. Lots of metallics, actually – gold shirts tied at the belly (like you used to do with your school shirt) were worn with floaty silver flares. Very molten. Very metal.
Other frocks came dotted with feathers, and shimmered with sequins, or more simply, undergarment-like silk and did we mention the girls? Joan, Taylor, Karlie – it was veritable super fest. And then some. A hearty serving of Milanese glamour and it’s only day one. Lucky us!
