Season two of adidas Originals and Alexander Wang is here. Well, almost. The Juergen Teller-shot campaign certainly is, but you’re going to have to wait a little longer to get your mitts on the garments themselves, which, needless to say, look at their gender-neutral, subversive best. It’s a case of city-cyclist meets urban-raver round two – we imagine the adidas by Wang kid rides a super sleek, single speed bike, very fast, with little or no regard for the highway code and spends his/her Saturday nights at some nightspot we’re probably too old to know about. Potentially on said bike. We’re guessing. Either way, the campaign looks very nice. Lots of mesh, in full form track jackets or worn over ALT DIMENSION graphic tees. A full tracksuit of fluorescence too – the cuffed variety and bit of logo-mania at play – not only on the black and white, fully reversible wind-breaker, but the black (wide-legged) tracksuit bottoms too, which are fitted with side-buttons for a quick release, were the appropriate situation to arise.
