Lovely honest-to-goodness clothes. That’s what A.P.C. delivers, not heavy fashion. Jean Touitou would like that, we think – he’s said before he’s not a fashion designer, he just makes clothes. Clothes he wants to sell, clothes people will want to wear. It’s all very easy. This A.P.C. collection was easy too. It was easy to tick off the stuff you wanted, like the crosshatch checked knits, the stripes, the tartans, a natty bunch of overalls. Lovely job.
