Cast your mind back to May and Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Resort 2018 show for the house of Dior, held in the desert just outside of Los Angeles – or, as it is imprinted into the collective memory of Ten Towers: that time Sophia had to wear flats. Today we’re reminiscing via the just-released campaign which sees the return of house muse and general fashion darling Jennifer Lawrence, photographed for a second time by Brigitte Lacombe. The pictures, like the collection itself, were inspired by the landscapes of New Mexico and American artist Georgia O’Keeffe, whose life work was based on ideas of shamanism.
Speaking on the campaign, Grazia said Lawrence embodies the singular femininity and special connection to nature she wanted to evoke through the collection. Agreed – plus, not many people can pull off a headscarf under a hat, so there’s that too. I want to call it “Rachel Zoe does music festival” – in the BEST way – the floating dresses, the woven wristbands, the hat etc. etc. Clothes we want to wear. And preferably someone hot. Thanks!
