10 Questions With Tasha Ahead Of Horst Festival 2026

Festival season has officially arrived. And what a way to kick things off. This week, club-goers from across the world are travelling to Brussels for Horst, the three-dayer that transforms Asiat Park into an artistic playground. There’s no other festival quite like Horst, which alongside a stellar music programme – which also includes live acts and performance art – works with international artists and architects to imagine experimental stages across the site.

Getting underway tomorrow, closing out the first day’s proceedings is none other than Tasha, who is set to team up with fellow Londoner OK Williams for a three-hour b2b at the Dark Skies stage. Tasha has been a stalwart of the London club scene for close to two decades. A regular on Rinse FM and a resident at Wuppertal’s Open Ground club, Tasha spent last year celebrating 15 years of her record label and club night Neighbourhood, with stops at Fold, Manchester’s White Hotel and Blitz in Munich.

After spending the first part of the year touring through Australia, Japan and China, Tasha is gearing up for a heavy festival season, beginning with Horst. She joins a line-up of mainly Belgian-based talents, as this year, Horst set out to spotlight local artists. Standouts on the line-up also include Mankiyan, Malo Z and Waltur.

Before the festival begins, we sat down with Tasha for a quick round of Qs.

1. Describe your sound in one word?

Unpredictable.

2. You’re going b2b with OK Williams at Horst, what do you admire about her?

OK Williams is a beautiful person, in her own lane. She’s a killah DJ, a proper DJ. She just bosses it every time, always draws for the sickest tunes and throws in cheeky curve balls, which I love! I’m very excited for this b2b!

3. What can we expect from your set?

Pure joy and vibesss.

4. Why are you excited to play Horst?

I enjoyed raving there.

5. What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen from behind the DJ decks?

A shelving ceremony!

6. What’s the three key ingredients for a great festival?

Good sound system, good music and good people.

7. If you were going to set up a festival with Neighbourhood, who would you have headlining?

I won’t be setting up a Neighbourhood festival. Josey Rebelle.

8. Where have been some of your favourite places you’ve played this year?

Japan.

9. What’s one record you’ll never tire of?

One record that rarely leaves my record bag is M – More Drama.

10. What does the rest of summer hold for you?

Some fabulous festivals and debut b2bs. Looking forward to playing with Helena Hauff at Kala and Shy FX at Dekmantel.
