Part of the jeweller’s Crafts for Mind initiative – a powerful non-profit program dedicated to bettering mental wellbeing – the release marks a milestone for Completedworks as its debut in shoe design with results that speak for themselves.
Reworking Asics’ renowned Gel-Kayano 20 trainer from the sportswear giant’s early 2000s archive, this updated run-ready model is rooted in the ability to move expressively while boasting a stylish step. Handcrafted in Completedworks’ London studio, the trainers feature decorative motifs including contrasting gems, pearl-peppered bows and beaded floral appliqués proving that Completedworks’ signature approach to ornamentation is nothing if not perfectly pretty.
Available in black and white colourways, the three available designs provoke playfulness while conforming to whatever the day brings your way. It’s a collaboration that perfectly aligns with and echoes Asics’s ethos that “footwear should move effortlessly through all aspects of life”.
