Ten’s To Do: Grab A Cuppa’ at Café Alaïa

Fancy a cuppa’? Good, because there’s a luxe new spot for coffee, tea or an apéritif, should you fancy one, in Paris. Nestled in the calming inner courtyard of a Alaïa’s boutique in the city, a charming and elegant brasserie terrace dwells: introducing Cafè Alaïa Da Rosa. Located at 5 rue de Marignan, Cafê Alaïa is like a secret garden situated in the heart of Paris’s 8th arrondissement with a deep devotion to Alaïa’s distinctive art de vivre.

Channelling the warm and welcoming temperament of Mr. Azzedine Alaïa, who used to rally an eclectic, democratic crowd for famous diners at which he would serve guests from within his very own kitchen. That kitchen at Rue de Moussy has become a mythical, historic address, adored by friends, family and collaborators of the maison. Years on, Café Alaïa is a place for these rare, memorable moments to cultivate and thrive, never to be abandoned or forgotten.

The menu is a scrumptious one: the delectable delicacies of Alaïa‘s table are inspired by authentic dishes from Portugal, Spain and Italy. On this tasty trip around the mediterranean basin you’ll experience seasonal sweet and savoury flavours made in partnership with Da Rosa delikatessen which sourced only the highest quality products. Open from Tuesday to Saturday, from noon till 7pm, step outside bevvies, canapés, confections and more. We’ll see you in Paris – but first, coffee.
