Ten Loves: Gucci GG Canvas Collection

A timeless Gucci classic his making its return to the shop floor. The GG Canvas is back, back, back again, this time in a royal navy and beige iteration. First introduced back in the 1970s, Alessandro Michele has pulled the house staples out of the archive to dress an entirely new capsule collection.

Making its comeback during thee Gucci Love Parade in Los Angeles last November, the Gucci archive staple now defines a wide array of products for both men and women, such as bags, shoes and an extensive range of luggage, harking back to the beginning of the brand’s legacy, when Guccio Gucci worked as a lift boy at the Savoy Hotel in London.

Inspired by the trunks of the British aristocracy, the collection’s suitcases are joined by house classics such as he Jackie 1961, the Gucci Horsebit 1955, and the Dionysus. Also coated in this historical Gucci Canvas is the Gucci Jordaan loafers, GG Rython trainers and GG Marmont reversible belts, which all look terrific in the freshly-updated navy and beige iterations.

Proving to be the perfect companion to any lavish get-away, make sure your next trip towards the sunshine is decked in GG goodness.
