Balmain launches the B-IT sliders

Off on your holibobs? You need a new pair of pool sliders, don’t you? For all your summer adventures, Balmain has got just the right pairing. The brand’s new B-IT sliders don puffy craftsmanship inspired by Japan’s Geta and Okobo sandals and wooden racing boats, combined to create slides fit for a future. The shoe’s thick sole comes accompanied by enlarged leather overlays and a metallic Balmain logo. Olivier Rousteing says the shoe’s unusual design is partly influenced by his time spent in hospital last year, as the silhouette evokes the feeling of surgical footwear.
