Palace and Moschino Join Forces for the Collab of the Year

Remember last week when we said Palace’s Whitney Houston collection was the collab to end all collabs? Well, the skatewear brand has only gone and topped themselves, haven’t they?

Released without warning over the weekend – understandably sending thousands of hypebeasts across the globe (including us) into freakout mode – Palace teased its upcoming collaboration with Moschino. Yes, you heard that right. The Italian megabrand will be launching an exclusive capsule collection with Palace this Friday, inspired by Jeremy Scott‘s tongue-in-cheek design go-to’s, as well as some of Franco Moschino’s signatures.

So what’s on offer, then? Well, Palace’s badge of honour – the Tri-Ferg – has been morphed into a Moschino-equipped M, plastered across a range of tees that’ll sell out in a heartbeat. There’s also all-over printed denim, hedonistic shirting and matching technicoloured trousers, too – harking back to the days of UKG when Moschino dominated London’s sticky dancefloors in the early aughts.

Outerwear comes courtesy of bubble coats plastered in Moschino’s cloud print (another UKG favourite) and “Hug Me” shearlings with a pair of fluffy hands round the waist, aw. “I was happy to collaborate with my long-time pals at Palace to create this collection full of peace, love and hugs,” says Jeremy Scott, who has adopted Moschino’s iconic cow print (first debuted at the brand’s AW85 show) into a milk carton bag and some funky wheels for your decks.

“Moschino is one of our favourite brands of all time: chic, sexy, innovative and properly funny. Working with them has been a full-blown dream scenario for us and we are still buzzing on it,” explain the boys at Palace. And you can’t help but get excited for them, after all, this is the collab of the year.
