Palace has Designed a Whitney Houston Collection

Two things we’d never thought we’d hear uttered in the same sentence: Palace (the British staple skatewear brand) and Whitney Houston (does she even need an introduction?). The collab to end all collabs has arrived just after a monumental weekend over in the US, where we’re sure “Million Dollar Bill”  was next in queue after Miley Cyrus’ “Party In The USA” as the nation partied hard in celebration of Trump’s defeat. To commemorate the late singer’s long overdue induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Palace has created a special licensed capsule collection dedicated to the star, where all profits will go to the Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation.

What piece will sell out the fastest, you ask? Well, it’s got to be the t-shirt with a picture of Houston wearing a Triferg vest now, wouldn’t it? Closely followed would be the series of crewnecks, tees, caps and varsity jackets all stamped with “Houston” and “Whitney” on the front and rear. Pat Houston, Whitney’s long-time manager and sister-in-law, says there would be “no doubt [Whitney] would have loved to have worn it herself!” If that doesn’t want to make you try your luck this Friday, we don’t know what will.

The Palace ‘Whitney Houston’ capsule collection will be available online this Friday, November 13th, at 11am GMT.
