Drama, by the bulk load. The Les Hommes SS21 presentation was bulging with smouldering eye contact, serious fashions and a wispy black veil thrown in for dramatic effect. Creative directors Tom Notte & Bart Vandebosch set out to create a collection that was quintessentially Les Hommes; sharply executed and coated in black. Uniting a cohort of opposites, the design duo meshed traditionally sporty elements with rigid menswear staples. Slick suiting paired with chunky trainers; rain ponchos adorned with metal hardware; sturdy leather jackets fitted with lots of zips and eyelets. Les Hommes is known for its sleek and slender silhouettes, this collection was no different. Just take a look at the sleeveless blazers, cracking when paired with some skinny trousers that come adorned with a big silver chain. Our favourite addition, though, had to be a family of sturdy bum bags, all attached on one belt – how handy. You could chuck everything and the kitchen sink in there. The brand dubbed this collection “The Essence of Contemporary Elegance,” a mantra that can be applied to everything Les Hommes does. Effortlessly cool each and every way. When can we place our order?
