It happens every year. It gets to July and you’ve got five weeks to get a body like Emily Ratajakowski before you and the girls head off to Zante. Forget hiring a personal trainer to help you sweat away those pornstar martinis, MSGM has released a new activewear line, practically made for last-minute crunch hurdles at the gym. The playful, high-energy design ethos of creative director Massimo Giorgetti has been transferred into a range of neon gym-gear which would look as great on the streets as it would on the treadmill. “As a wellness fan, a keen yoga practitioner and a runner, I have tried to express my passions in a product that is effortless, makes a strong aesthetic impact and is also supremely practical,” says Giorgetti. “A product that is simple only in appearance, but actually combines MSGM attitude with strong technical know-how.” And just to be clear, the probability of getting the Ratajakowski abs is 1:10000 – but you might as well get a fabulous new kit.
Highlights include a hot pink tie-dye two-piece, in a seamless finish. That means, if you’re headed off to an intensive hot yoga session, or simply meeting your mates down the pub for the Thursday night quiz, you won’t be restricted in any way whatsoever. A treadmill or a bar – it’s perfect for relay. There’s also a sleeveless hoodie splashed in a florescent yellow which would be the perfect addition to both your gym and festival wardrobes. Even if you’re not planning to head to the gym at all, wearing MSGM Activewear will make you look like you live for getting fit, and doing it with style.
