If you’ve ever seen one of my work notebooks, you’ll know I love a good sticker. As of right now, there’s about a dozen of random stickers covering the brown paperback, like a monument of rejected PR packages that were delivered to the Ten Towers in the past 6 months. At this point everyone in the office knows – you get a sticker, you give it to Dino. So imagine the excitement when hearing that Swarovski has launched a mini collection of crystal stickers in collaboration with Kate Moss, Elton John, Billie Eilish and Lady Gaga with her sister Natali Germanotta in honour of the 2018 Fashion Awards. And all that for a good cause – to help raise funds for British Fashion Council’s charity, particularly their Education Foundation supporting the future of creative talent.
The self-adhesive stickers are made with Swaovski crystal fabric, each designed to reflect individuals behind them. And even without a name attached to each of them, it’s clear which one which – Elton John’s sticker has the singer’s signature star-framed sunglasses, while Kate Moss had her made in a leopard print with her actual signature. The new generation IT girl Billie Eilish reimagines the classic figure of a man in style of a real-life moody teenager – and who can’t relate? Lady Gaga, joined by her sister Natali, designed their sticker to reflect Gaga’s upcoming Las Vegas residency titled Enigma and launching on December 28th. And just like any real collectibles, you truly gotta catch’em all.
The Swarovski crystal stickers in celebration of the 2018 Fashion Awards are available in Swarovski stores and online.
