This capsule is just a taster for the JW Anderson SS19 co-ed show that’s coming to London Fashion Week in a few days. Inspired by the 19th century British Aestheticism and the idea of “art for art’s sake”, Anderson takes the Movement’s focus on beauty and translates it into the excellence of craftsmanship and design. Figures like Oscar Wilde, Christopher Dresser and EW Godwin spoke the same language Jonathan Anderson’s designs speak today. The only difference is – we can now instantly shop all that beauty.
