Gucci To Show SS19 At Théâtre Le Palace In Paris

Paris is calling and we always pick up for Paris. As announced in May, Gucci will show their Spring/ Summer 2019 collection in Paris on September 24th. Those were the only details we had but now all has been revealed. As the French love affair continues (this is Alessandro Michele’s third French instalment for the House following the Pre-Fall 2018 campaign and the Cruise show) Gucci will take over Théâtre Le Palace at 9pm on the chosen date. All good things come in threes and happen at clubs, duh. Le Palace was the place to be in the ‘80s, a place of complete self-expression, inclusivity and hardcore partayyyyying. Le Palace now serves as a theatre with 970 seats and upon Googling it, reviews state “Good visibility, good show, surprisingly comfortable seating!” whilst another says, “Chairs a bit small with little legroom.” What is the truth? We have so many questions. Like will Michele put on a party for SS19 or keep it dark, evil and wicked like Cruise ‘19? We must also note here that Le Palace was the place where King of sound and music for the fashion world, Michel Gaubert DJ’d during the ‘80s, who will as per usual work his magic for the Gucci show. So yes, it’s going to be good. We wouldn’t expect anything less.
