Life in Oliver Peoples glasses looks good. This collection means lounging around John Lautner’s Harpel House in Hollywood with a fresh pair of frames, talking about artist practice. The life. A collection of artists, musicians, curators, architects and designers are on the line up for Oliver Peoples’ latest campaign, “In Conversation”. It’s exactly that: a conversation between creatives. We’re sure they were saying interesting things but we couldn’t help but stare, wide eyed and distracted, at their glasses. We love musician Lianne La Havas in her Aaliyah-esque tinted shades, popstar CYN was working new gen Harry Potter round specs and Dorian Grinspan was giving us oversized nerd vibes in his conversation with art curator Lawrence Van Hagen who rocked those gold framed old school shades so well. So many choices. They all looked very knowing, wise, experienced, so we’re sure they had great things to say. We will try to drag our eyes away from their great glasses but it seems that the choice of Oliver Peoples frame is the true, new, window to the soul.
