Normally we are the ones delivering the fashion news, but the tables have turned, with this new fun film from Coach. Selena Gomez and Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers are serving news anchor realness, albeit a bit more blooper reel than actual news cast, but either way, we are here for it. As children, my best friend and I would often pretend to be reporters and had a fab news channel called “This Is The News”, I mean, maybe not the best name, but you knew exactly what we were offering. I’d like to think that we were the inspiration for Selena and Stuart’s skit, but I think that might be taking things a bit far… Anyhow, as I am sure you know by now, Selena stars in the brand’s AW17 campaign, as well as having designed her own fab handbag for Coach, so this is a bit of a ‘behind-the-scenes, but not really’ look at the design process. It’s really just a fun teaser trailer, with added dinosaur weather reporter. A Rexy bonus you could say. Enjoy.
