Les Couilles Du Chien translates to “the dog’s bollocks”, or so we’ve been told. It’s also the name of the brill London antiques store helmed by Jeremy Dodd, where he peddles old stuff that he’s gathered from around the globe. Old and beautiful stuff. Like us. Sophia is “ob-sessed, babes” with it, and even more “ob-sessed babes” with these globes de mariée. She’s gifting them like crazy. Think there’s a couple knocking about upstairs too. A globe de mariée, for those not well-versed in French antiques, was given to couples when they were married to store their most precious belongings – lock of hair, flowers, slice of wedding cake, old knickers etc. etc. This one, in purple and gold, hails from the early 20th century.
