Val Garland, bonafide legend, longtime friend of Ten and woman with a list of clients and collaborators as long as your arm (or leg) has this morning been named Global Make-up Director of L’Oreal Paris. Massive congrats from Ten Towers! Not that we’re surprised – Val’s created some of the most iconic make-up looks of the last two decades, and, having seen her work in the flesh on numerous occasions we can attest that she one truly inspiring lady – from no make-up make-up to the most insane, out-of-this-world looks, there’s nothing Val can’t do. She’s an artist of the face. We at Ten wish Val nothing but the absolute best and are gagging to see what maquillage magic she will create for the superbrand. In the words of Ms Garland herself – L’Oreal, you’ve been VALidated.
