Fulfilling a lesser-known fantasy of ours to have an Emporio Armani show within walking distance, exciting news has just pinged into our inboxes that Mr Armani is set to bring his Emporio show to London this season. And when we say walking, we actually mean driving because, contrary to the Nancy Sinatra lyric, these boots are not, unfortunately, made for walking. The show itself will happen on September 17th during London Fashion Week and will celebrate a re-jig of their Emporio Armani store on Bond Street. Mr Armani said in a statement this morning: “London – dynamic, energetic and cosmopolitan – represents global culture, so it’s the perfect setting for my Emporio Armani collection. After my One Night Only event in 2006, I’m thrilled to be returning to London to unveil the new concept at the Bond Street store, bearing witness to the brand’s strong bond with the British people.”
