In news that landed in our inboxes this morning (well, Joel told me) we have word of this year’s finalists for the esteemed LVMH prize. Whittled down from an original 1,200 applications and then the twenty four who showed their wares in Paris last month, we are now left with our final eight. So who are the TYTs (talented young things) who will be competing to scoop the 300,000 euro prize and mentorship from the best business brains in the game this June? Drumroll… Yoon Ahn (Ambush), Kozaburo Akasaka (Kozaburo), Cecilie Rosted Bahnsen (Cecilie Bahnsen), Nabil El-Nayal (Nabil Nayal), Molly Goddard, Maria Kazakova (Jahnkoy), Marine Serre, and Antonin Tron (Atlein). “This 2017 edition has above all heralded the diversity of candidates,” said Delphine Arnault. “I am delighted that women dominate this year’s selection, with five out of eight candidates. Furthermore, several boast an international experience.” Condragulations!
