We know that this has probably been mentioned several times by us, members of your immediate family, colleagues, a man on the tube etc, but, it bears repeating. It’s fucking freezing. And what do you need when it’s this freezing? Apart from feigning sickness, staying at home and smothering oneself with an electric blanket? A good jacket, of course. And what jacket is quite as iconic as the MA-1 Bomber Jacket? Hence why the Istanbul-based streetwear brand, Les Benjamins, have collaborated with kings of the bomber, Alpha Industries, on a special edition MA-1. Which, as you can see from the pictures above, is very nice and, quite literally, has my middle name on it. Benjamin, that is. But anyway, as Ben Birkl from Alpha Industries said, “from the beginning it was such a strong friendship so it was obvious that we would work together on a project, in this case a MA-1 Bomberjacket. For fall / winter 2016 we created this piece of Art together with Bunyamin Aydin – simple yet stunning.” There you go. It’s available on Les Benjamins’ website now…
