It was off to Clerkenwell last night for a spot of aural stimulation, courtesy of J Brand’s private listening party. So what, exactly, were we listening to? Well, that would be the fine vocal pipes of Lou Doillon, muse, model and singer/songwriter, who performed a selection of songs from her latest album Lay Low for an intimate gathering of fashion and music sorts. Ms Doillon was the face of J Brand’s last campaign and will continue giving good visage for the upcoming Spring/Summer season. Made sense then, that she poured her exceptional musical talents into a pair of the brand’s jeans serving us, in the process, her best Parisienne wo-man. Tres chic! Other esteemed guests included Amber Le Bon, Daisy Lowe and Portia Freeman, who all wore J Brand for the occasion. Music, copious booze and sexy jeans – what more could you possibly want?
