DSquared2 Become Manchester City’s Official Fashion Partner

Being, as I am, not your standard member of the male species, I know very little about the sport of football. I did, after all, spend a large portion of my childhood avoiding any sort of airborne ball, which, when having to play football in P.E. is actually a bit of an art form. Anyway, point is, I know nothing about football. But even I’ve heard of Manchester City. They win everything don’t they? Or is that United? Well, they definitely make like a thousand pounds a second. And now, as if stacks of cash and world recognition weren’t quite enough, they’ve also got some very nice clothes. Clothes that they don’t have to pay for, since they are the team’s official pre-match wardrobe and made by none other than Dean and Dan Caten, AKA DSquared2. Yes, the Italian brand are now the Official Fashion Partner to the team – cladding the boys as they travel to Champions League Games. Fancy. “We are honoured to be dressing the Manchester City team,” said Dean and Dan. “We have designed a unique suit for the players and the staff, modern fit and elegant fabrics. Mr Guardiola and his team represent and embody Dsquared2 style and tailoring on sports. This is just a sneak peak, one of their new looks “the casual sport traveller”. Their official tailored uniforms will be released later on in the year. We look forward to seeing them all suited up.” Us neither. Bring on the boys.
