“Why do you not wear sunglasses?” says Dominic. “Because they don’t suit me,” I say. “You just haven’t found the right pair,” he tells me. See this film, then, as an attempt to hook me up with my eyewear mate. My life partner. My love connection. And who better, really, to match with than the esteemed house of Fendi’s latest pair? And, not just Fendi, might I add, this is Fendi and Thierry Lasry, French designer, who, for the purposes of this, I will refer to as the king of sunglasses. They’ve teamed up with him on a capsule collection which is demonstrated here, very ably, might I add, by Kristina Bazan. Kristina is a “fashion digital influencer”, don’t you know, which, for those not well-versed in such speak means something along the lines of: she wears, you buy. “Shot in a bright and modern urban apartment,” say the accompanying notes, “the new video features Kristina Bazan light-heartedly moving and dancing in the rooms while playing with her Fendi and Thierry Lasry sunglasses and interacting with lively graphic animations, inspired by the colourful sunglasses patterns.” So Fendi and Thierry – I think you’re the one.
