When I was younger I loved fun fairs. I’d run off in search of the bumper cars – as we all know, they are the best thing on offer at those temporary pop-up paradises. Barging through the crowds of gangly teens and snotty school kids, I’d seek out every colourful light until they led me to my required destination. Basically, lights bring guidance to all in a time of need and last night was a celebration of bringing another guiding light into the world, leading us into the loving arms of N°21’s Alessandro Dell’Acqua and Lorenza Luti from Kartell. The collaboration between the two came on the occasion of the 2016 International Milano Furniture Fair and the magnificent Tatì lamp was born. An exclusive macramé shade has been created by N°21 offering a fresh twist or more aptly knot of Ferruccio Laviani’s ‘Tatì’ lamp. In celebration of this luminous affair ‘Tatì’ will shine bright like a diamond in a special display at the new N°21 flagship store in Milan. Let there be light.
